Contigo International is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 to provide community based healthcare, social, holistic and legal services for for the poor; immigrants; survivors of domestic and sexual violence, physical assault, abuse, neglect, abandonment and human trafficking; the mentally challenged; the homeless; and other disadvantaged persons lacking the financial ability otherwise to afford such services in the United States and worldwide.
Our team of experienced, licensed practitioners provide quality mental health services, empowering each client to become confident, healthy, and strong in spite of life’s obstacles. Each therapist will work with you in order to develop an individualized plan, teaching you ways to improve well-being, manage anxiety and build confidence.
Dr. Rukhsana M. Chaudhry Psy. D.
Dr. Rukhsana M. Chaudhry received her B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She received her Doctor of Psychology from the George Washington University. She completed her post-graduate training in Trauma and Recovery at Harvard University’s Global Mental Health program.
She has been passionate about community mental health and working with marginalized communities since college. Her work for over 9 years has included working Latino women who have been traumatized under the violence against women act and have sought asylum in the United States. She has worked as a bilingual psychologist treating the Latino population in Washington D.C. facing hardship due to separation and reunification of families and refugee and immigration-related trauma.
